A side project

Lastpile is run by one person, not a company or registered business. It’s offered as-is, without guarantees of support, availability, accuracy, or data storage. It may change, break, lose data, or shut down at any time, with or without notice. Keep your own copy of anything you don’t want to lose.

Saved links and summaries

Your saved links remain yours. Saving a URL allows Lastpile to fetch and process it to create your summary feed. Third-party services, including Jina AI, extract public page content and are expected to respect each site’s access controls and terms. Some links, including videos, PDFs, paywalled pages, and login-only pages, may only get a title, description, or preview image.

AI summaries can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. They’re a quick first look, not a replacement for the original or professional, financial, legal, or medical advice. Check the source before relying on a summary.

Your account

Lastpile is for people aged 16 or older. By using it, you confirm you meet that requirement. I don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you think a minor has an account, email me and I’ll remove it.

Keep your Google account secure and don’t use Lastpile for unlawful content, abuse, or bypassing limits. I may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or pose a legal or security risk, including accounts believed to belong to someone under 16. You can delete your account in Settings.

Responsibility

You use Lastpile and its summaries at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, I make no warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and accept no liability for losses from using it. This includes direct or indirect losses from inaccurate summaries, decisions based on them, lost data, interruptions, or the service closing.
